The developer of energy-saving devices Uncharted Play company proposed to use one of the cheapest types of energy – human movement. The first gadgets working on this principle are SOCCET and PULSE. In appearance, this is an ordinary ball and rope, which are actually devices for converting kinetic energy into electrical energy, thanks to the electronic stuffing.

According to one of the creators of devices, Jessica Mathews, the idea was born during her visit to Nigeria, where millions of children do not have access to electricity. A few years later, together with a team of students from Harvard, she developed SOCCET and PULSE .

Inside the ball and rope there are pendulums-converters of kinetic energy to electrical. In order for the “process to go”, it is necessary to regularly use these devices, as a result of which the small lithium-ion batteries located inside are charged. As soon as charging is completed, you can connect your own mobile device to a special port through them.
